Misery loves company and all that.

People will do some stupid things around railroad tracks, sometimes ignoring signs that are even more pointed than the ones you saw: "Stay off! Stay away! Stay alive!" When confronted, they'll say something like "Well, I'm not *sleeping* on the track like those girls last summer!" That would be a reference to the two bubblegummers who were injured while, yes, really: SLEEPING ON THE TRACK.
Galactically stupid.

Comment on Hurray, It's Christmas In October!!

I do not understand how we are suppose to scare children on Halloween with Christmas music playing. Does this radio station plan to play the music all the way through to Christmas? Who listens to that station and why in October?

By the way, St. Louis weather does not suck today!

Comment on Iggy's

I couldn't disagree more with this article. Sounds like the writer is more attempting to be a comedian than a writer. Iggy's is the best Mexican restaurant to hit the StL area in a long time. I've had nothing but great experiences there, and the prices and portions are excellent. Their salsa is one the better ones out there, and their margaritas are awesome. Thank you Iggy's for finally breaking through the barrier of crappy Mexican restaurants in St. Louis! You guys should give it a second try...many restaurants make mistakes, and if you judge them on one article, or one experience, you are missing out!!

Comment on The Dollar Store

Todd, I agree with you about the winters in St. Louis. I know you are familiar with the word exponential. Indianapolis winters equal St. Louis winters exponentially. My big question is are you talking about the garage sales I used to have? We move and in less than a year you are using my garage sales as comedy on your website. That is gray!

Comment on I'm Sorry, I Need To Make An Update

You're right, earthquakes should be considered as part of our weather-like phenomenon. Although earthquakes are part of the lithosphere instead of the atmosphere, there are other non-atmospheric events included in our weather communications. i.e. tides, and uh... ok, I was gonna say UV and smog alerts but that's atmospheric so all I got is tides.
Anyway, until they become predictable they aren't going to be merged with the daily TV meteorology reports so you might as well wear a helmet all day. ;-)
